Why We Do What We Do
As we often say, "It's all about the cats!"
When we moved into our 100-year-old farmhouse in the city, we brought several cats of our own. It wasn't long before the neighborhood cats began taking shelter on our porch. We welcomed them, understanding that the shelters are already overcrowded and seeing the need for a safe place where they could find refuge, get food and veterinary care, and be kept out of harm's way. Over the past 10 years, with much love given and many heartaches faced, we've created a makeshift feral cat sanctuary on our property; our very own Feral Farmhouse. This is where we now document our ongoing journey with the beautiful cats who have made this their home and woven their way into our hearts.
